Enjoy reading from these favorite book lists! 

Students will be reading and listening to the new 2010 nominees for the Washington Children's Choice, Beverly Cleary, Sasquatch, and Young Reader's Choice awards in the coming 2009-10 school year.  Students can then vote for their favorite nominated books in March, if they have read or listened to at least two nominees in a list.  The Caldecott and Newbery awards are awarded each year by the American Library Association to the most distinguished picture book and young people's book.  They are all wonderful books for reading with children.
